Who we are: 
Cindy Doody/owner of Mariposa has been a licensed therapist since 2001. In 2008 Cindy opened Mariposa Massage next to Balance Studio when the new building opened. Cindy specializes in deep tissue work and enjoys working with athletes in the area, but balances her work with Oncology Massage which is also one of her passions.

Mariposa means butterfly in Spanish. A muscular therapy studio in the heart of Cohasset, 2 miles from the Ocean on the South Shore. We offer muscular and body therapy within varied modalities, please see our list of services.
Our therapists  are highly trained, and are encouraged to continue their education. We also encourage and support the open communication between doctors, physical therapists and the clients (within HIPA), so that we may offer a holistic approach to wellness.
We take pride in what we do, where we practice, and how we practice.  Offering two tranquil rooms where thought has gone into the green side of our practice by using low VOC paints, bamboo floors, and organic products from our sheets to our oils. We also have on-line scheduling and on-line gift certificates for your convenience.

What we do:  At Mariposa we treat muscles where function has been compromised. Therapists have established successful practices by delivering individualized and appropriate treatment to each and every patient.
